Lago di Como – Italy

What to say about Northern Italy?

I had never been there and now I do not see the moment to come back….maybe with my friend Adri who is going to visit this region next autumn… what about Adri?! 😉

We flew from Madrid to Bergamo (Milano) and as soon as we arrived and my boyfriend took me to “La cittá alta” and …. I run out of words… How possible Bergamo to become so visited only since Ryanair is flying there… what an amazing city!!!

With a population of 110k, it is one of the most amazing Italian cities I have ever visited…you must go there right now!!!… Now I know why its airport is the third one in whole Italy 😉 😉 😉

Not happy with this, we were driven till we reached Como and… OMG!!!!!!

Ok… the weather was perfect, the season to visit the city is really the best… in my opinion….

I did not expect to find anything else so beauty after my surprise in Bergamo…

How wrong I was….and so happy about it!!! ;-P ;-P ;-P

The first day in Como, we took the funicular till the mountains surrounding the lake and went for a walk across the hillside. It took us more than two hours  come back to the hotel as we got lost but it was funny (when we reached the city again….) :-) :-) :-)

We had only time to take a short shower for going out to our restaurant “La vita é bella” (kindly recommended by one of my husband’s Italian friends).

Of course it was delicious: wine next to the lake, eating one of the best carrots cake and pannacota ever tried… after some typical starters with cold meat and cheese and of course, insalata di mare, one of their specialties.

The next day we visited the old town which is cool, cute and full of amazing corners to be found out before taking a boat to visit some of the most popular towns around the lake. We stopped at Bellagio and left Menaggio and Villa Carlota gardens for our next visit.

Then we come back to Bergamo and went for a walk through the downtown which is a cool experience as you can visit some of the monumental part of the city and at the same time, eat pizza, sweets or whatever you want in a very small area which will make you feel very comfortable.

To sum up, two cities two visit at least once in your lifes… trust me!!!

Have a nice day!!!!Post 3

Feliz semana!!!
